With the introduction of the VF 7 electric SUV at the 2025 Auto Expo, VinFast made its debut in India. Although the VF 7’s pricing has not yet been disclosed, the carmaker has placed it in the premium EV market. We give a concise synopsis of the VF 7 in this article, emphasizing its range, features, interior, and design.
VinFast VF 7 Design

All things considered, VinFast has chosen a simple design strategy for the VF 7. Its elegant LED DRLs up front grab your attention right away. Below them is the headlamp arrangement, and even though it is an EV, it has a conventional honeycomb grille that improves its look.
Moving sideways, the VF 7’s prominent wheel arches and side body cladding give it a robust appearance. Additionally, it has flush-fitting door knobs, which give its outside a high-end appearance. The blacked-out rear bumper adds to the vehicle’s sturdy aspect, and the integrated LED tail lights give the back end an exquisite appearance. The dimensions of the VF 7 are 4,545 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, 1,635 mm in height, and 2,840 mm in wheelbase.
VinFast VF 7 Interior

With just a floating infotainment system on the dashboard, the VF 7’s minimalistic design style is maintained inside, giving it a clean appearance. The center console has plenty of storage space, and buttons for choosing the drive mode are located beneath it. Additionally, the inside features a dual-tone color design with several silver elements.
Interestingly, the VF 7 lacks an instrument cluster, but since it has a heads-up display that shows all the information you need, we don’t think it will be a problem.
VinFast VF 7 Features
Features of the VinFast VF 7 include a wireless phone charger, a heads-up display, a panoramic glass roof, and a 15-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Eight airbags, a 360-degree video system, electronic stability control, and advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) with adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and blind spot identification are among the safety features.
VinFast VF 7 Range and Powertrain Specification
There are two tuning states available for the VinFast VF 7, which comes with a single 75.3 kWh battery pack. The top-spec model has a 354 PS/500 Nm dual electric motor combination mated to an all-wheel powertrain, while the base model has a 204 PS/310 Nm single electric motor setup with a front-wheel drivetrain. A claimed range of 450 km is provided by the former, and 431 km by the latter.
VinFast VF 7 Price and Rivals
Prices for the VF 7 have not yet been disclosed by VinFast, but we anticipate that they will start at Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). It will replace the Mahindra XEV 9e, BYD Sealion 7, Hyundai Ioniq 6, and Kia EV6 when it launches.
