In 2025, popular ICE variants of Tata automobiles will be getting their EV counterparts, coupled with the reintroduction of a legendary SUV moniker
With up to seven models anticipated to join the market in 2025, Tata Motors appears to be preparing for an exciting year. These include the eagerly awaited Tata Harrier EV and Tata Sierra. The lineup also includes models that were previously shown as concepts and others that were recently observed in testing. Let’s examine the complete list of vehicles that we anticipate Tata will introduce in 2025.
Tata Sierra (ICE + EV)

Expected launch: January 17, 2025
Expected Price: Rs 11 lakh (ICE) and Rs 20 lakh (EV)
The Tata Sierra is anticipated to make a second appearance in 2025 after first being unveiled as a concept at the Auto Expo 2020 and then showcasing a more developed form at the Auto Expo 2023. At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Tata Motors intends to display the production-ready Sierra, which will be available in both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) configurations.
The EV model is probably going to have a 60–80 kWh battery pack with a stated range of more than 500 km. Among its variations, it is anticipated to have a single electric motor with variable power outputs.
A new 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with 170 PS and 280 Nm might power Sierra’s ICE variant. The first time this engine was seen was at the 2023 Auto Expo. A 2-liter diesel engine, like the one that powers the Harrier and Safari SUVs, may also be available from Tata.
Tata Harrier EV

Expected launch: January 17, 2025
Expected price: Rs 25 lakh
Tata Motors announced during a recent conference call that the Harrier EV will be released before the end of the 2024–2025 fiscal year, most likely in March 2025. The production-spec Harrier EV might also be on display during the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo.
It is anticipated that the Harrier EV will have two motors, allowing for all-wheel drive (AWD). Its entry-level models, however, can come with a single motor. The Harrier EV is expected to have a larger battery than the Curvv EV and Nexon EV, with a range of up to 550 km, though specifics regarding its battery pack are still few.
Tata Safari EV

Expected launch: February 2025
Expected price: Rs 32 lakh
The larger sister of the planned Harrier EV, the Safari EV, is also anticipated to make its appearance in 2025. The Safari EV might be displayed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, just like the Harrier EV. With a stated range of more than 500 kilometers, it is probably going to have the same battery pack as the Harrier EV.
Tata Punch Facelift

Expected launch: September 2025
Expected price: Rs 6 lakh
For a while now, spy photos of the facelifted Tata Punch have been making the rounds online, suggesting that it will be released in 2025. With a new exterior and interior design, the facelifted Punch is anticipated to take styling ideas from the Punch EV. A remodeled cabin, a rebuilt front end, and a few additional features are possible updates. It is anticipated to keep its 1.2-liter gasoline engine, which produces 88 PS and 115 Nm, in conjunction with either an automatic manual transmission or a 5-speed manual.
Tata Harrier Petrol

Expected launch: June 2025
Expected price: Rs 14 lakh
The Tata Harrier will also have the 1.5-liter gasoline engine that was on display at the 2023 Auto Expo. After the Tata Sierra’s engine is released, we anticipate this mid-size SUV to get the update. A 6-speed manual or a dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) may be available with the new engine. The Harrier’s beginning price may be lowered with this petrol option, making it more reasonably priced than the entry-level model with the current specs.
Tata Tiago and Tigor Facelifts

Expected launch: December 2025
Expected price: Rs 5.2 lakh (Tiago) and Rs 6.2 lakh (Tigor)
Recent sightings of test mules for the Tata Tiago and Tigor suggested that these vehicles would get facelifts. Since these entry-level Tata vehicles haven’t had a major update in four years, 2025 is probably the year they will get one. It is anticipated that the facelift will include new features as well as revised exterior and interior designs. Nonetheless, it is anticipated that the upgraded vehicles will retain the current powertrain options. The EV variants of the Tiago and Tigor are probably going to get similar changes after their facelift.
