Hyundai India has unveiled the highly awaited electric SUV’s key features and power numbers in addition to its interior. Hyundai Creta Electric: Interior Explained

The dashboard design of the Hyundai Creta Electric is essentially the same as that of the ICE-powered vehicle. It’s not a negative thing because the dashboard appears contemporary with two digital screens and tactile knobs to manage key features like the touchscreen infotainment system and infotainment. This electric version, however, differs in a few ways to distinguish itself.

The revised three-spoke steering wheel with the drive selector mounted in the steering column is the most noticeable change. The drive mode selector, cup holders, and the control for the electronic parking brake are now located on the new lower center console. Finally, unlike the ICE model’s grey and white dashboard with amber ambient lighting, the electric Creta’s dashboard is decorated in black and white with purple ambient lighting.

The Hyundai Creta Electric’s feature list is essentially the same as that of the ICE-powered vehicle. Highlights include an 8-speaker Bose sound system, ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and two 10.25-inch displays that include the digital driver’s display and touchscreen infotainment system.

Along with all of this, the Creta Electric also has some new convenience features, such as in-car payment, which allows you to pay for charging from the infotainment screen. Additionally, a digital key is included, which allows you to use your smartphone to lock or unlock the car.

Six airbags (common), electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, a tire pressure monitoring system, and an electronic parking brake with auto hold all contribute to passenger safety. Furthermore, it has Level-2 ADAS, which is connected to regenerative braking, which uses radar to proactively slow down vehicles in front of it.

There are two battery pack configurations available for the Hyundai Creta Electric: a 42 kWh battery pack and a long-range 51.4 kWh unit. A 135 PS e-motor will be paired with the smaller battery, and a more potent 171 PS e-motor will be paired with the larger battery. The specifics are as follows:

With a DC charger, the Hyundai Creta EV can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 58 minutes. It will also allow fast charging. Recharging from 10% to 100% will take four hours if you use the 11 kW home box charger.

The Hyundai Creta Electric is anticipated to retail for approximately Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom). Along with the future Maruti e Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser, it will compete with the Tata Curvv, MG ZS EV, and Mahindra BE 6.
