Prices for the sub-4m SUV will be announced on February 1st, and deliveries are scheduled to start shortly after. Kia will be showing the new Syros at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. For a nominal fee of Rs 25,000, reservations for the Syros can be made both online and offline. Let’s examine what Kia has to offer with the Syros.
Kia Syros Exterior

Three-pod headlights with LED DRLs stacked vertically are a highlight of the Kia Syros’ fascia. The flagship all-electric EV9 and the sub-4m SUV share a similar boxy SUV style. It also features 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and flush door handles. The Syros has an L-shaped LED tail lamp and a spoiler positioned on the roof.
Kia Syros Interior and Features

Depending on the version selected, Kia offers Syros’s cabin with a dual-tone color scheme. With a 2-spoke steering wheel and a comparable AC vent location, the dashboard is modeled after the EV9. A digital AC control panel, front and rear ventilated seats, and two 12.3-inch screens (one for a touchscreen and the other for a digital driver display) are among the segment-first features of the Syros. A panoramic sunroof, 64-color ambient lighting, and an 8-speaker Harman Kardon sound system are further highlights.
Kia has fitted the Syros with a 360-degree camera, six airbags (as standard), and a few advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) to guarantee safety.
Kia Syros Powertrain
There are two engine options available for the Kia Syros: a 1-liter turbo-petrol engine that produces 120 PS and 172 Nm and is paired to either a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox (DCT) or a 6-speed manual transmission (MT). A 1.5-liter diesel engine with 116 PS and 250 Nm of power is the second engine option. It is mated to either a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
Kia Syros Price and Rivals

It is anticipated that the Kia Syros will cost between Rs 9.7 lakh and Rs 16.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The Syros can be viewed as a competitor to both subcompact and compact SUVs, including the Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara, even if it does not have direct competition.
