The Indian automaker intends to update several of its current models in addition to adding new electric SUVs to its lineup.

In 2024, Mahindra gained a lot of attention with the introduction of the Mahindra Thar Roxx and electric SUVs such as the XEV 9e and BE 6. By adding new models to its “XEV” and “BE” lineups and updating existing well-liked ICE-powered vehicles, the automaker is anticipated to keep up this pace in the following year.

XUV 4XO EV / XEV 4e

Like the current XUV400 EV, it will have the same design and feature set as the XUV 3XO. It may also come with 34.5 kWh and 39.5 kWh battery pack choices. By the first quarter of 2025, Mahindra is probably going to introduce the XUV 4XO EV, which will cost a little more than the present model, which retails for between Rs 16.74 lakh and Rs 17.69 lakh (ex-showroom).

XEV 7e

Expected Launch: March 2025

The exterior and interior of the Mahindra XUV700 EV, also known as the XEV 7e, were recently leaked online in their production-specified form. The all-electric XUV700 looks to have a similar cabin layout and design to the XEV 9e based on the images. Along with safety technology like advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), it is anticipated to have features including a premium sound system, multi-zone air conditioning, and a triple-screen layout. With a predicted range of up to 650 km, the powertrain options are probably going to be comparable to those of the XEV 9e, including 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery pack options. 

Thar 3-door Facelift

Expected Launch: April 2025

With unique exterior features such as a redesigned 6-slat grille, C-shaped LED DRLs, and new dual-tone alloy wheels, Mahindra debuted the 5-door Thar Roxx this year. We anticipate that in 2025, the automaker will give the three-door Thar a midlife update that includes these improvements as well as an upgraded cabin. Similar engine options, such as a 1.5-liter diesel, a 2.2-liter diesel, and a 2-liter turbo-petrol alternative, will probably be available.

Production-Spec BE 07

Mahindra is also anticipated to broaden its ‘Born Electric’ lineup by introducing the production-ready BE 07 in 2025.
