At the Auto Expo 2025, MG displayed three new products: an electric MPV, a flagship SUV, and an SUV with a new powertrain choice.
At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, MG is going all out with six cars, two of which will be released this year and sold through the company’s more upscale “MG Select” stores. Let’s take a quick look at each of the six vehicles that the automaker displayed at the 2025 Auto Expo.
MG Majestor

The MG Majestor, the company’s flagship SUV, will be available for purchase alongside the MG Gloster and is a new full-size SUV. It has a boxy shape, a large grille, stylish LED DRLs, 19-inch alloy wheels, headlights stacked vertically, and linked tail lights. Although the interior and features are yet unknown, it may have wireless phone chargers, a panoramic sunroof, and two screens. Prices may begin at Rs 46 lakh (ex-showroom), and the same engine options as the Gloster are anticipated.
MG Cyberster

The MG Cyberster EV, the company’s most potent electric roadster, was unveiled at Auto Expo 2025 and will be offered for sale through MG’s more upscale MG Select stores. It features 20-inch alloy wheels, scissor doors, a retractable roof, three dashboard screens, a separate screen for AC controls, adjustable seats, and an 8-speaker Bose audio system. It also has a 77 kWh battery pack that is connected to a dual-motor setup that generates 510 PS and 725 Nm, and it has a WLTP-claimed range of 443 km.
New MG Astor (ZS HEV)

The ZS HEV, which is the MG Astor’s new-generation counterpart, is another new vehicle at the MG exhibit. It debuted in India at the major auto exhibition after being shown off internationally in 2024. It has wraparound tail lights, a large grille, LED headlights, and linked LED DRLs. A 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch driver’s display, a 360-degree camera, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are among the technologies included in the global-spec vehicle. However, a powerful 1.5-liter hybrid turbo-petrol engine with 196 PS and 465 Nm is the standout feature.
MG M9

Before its launch this year, MG’s next flagship electric MPV, the MG M9, was also unveiled at Auto Expo 2025. It will have a panoramic sunroof, a single-pane unit, multi-zone auto air conditioning, and a high-end sound system, and it will be available in both 6- and 7-seater versions. The India-spec M9’s engine specifications are yet unknown, although the global-spec model has a 90 kWh battery pack with a 430 km stated range.
MG 7 Trophy
At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the MG 7 Trophy, a stylish sedan that is offered for sale abroad, was also unveiled. It has 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, linked LED tail lights, and a spoiler installed on the tailgate. Sport seats, a supersport button on the steering wheel, and a dual-screen system on the dashboard make the interiors sporty as well. It has a 2-liter turbo-petrol engine that generates 265 PS and 405 Nm when sold abroad, and if it is introduced in India, it may cost up to Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom).
iM 5

At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, iM Motors, a division of the SAIC Group that owns the MG brand in China, displayed the iM 5 electric car. Slim headlamps, a curved shape, an LED tail light bar, and a pixelated screen at the back for personalized messaging give it an aerodynamic appearance. With a yoke-style steering wheel, a panoramic 26.3-inch display, and an additional display for all of the EV’s controls, the interior is also revolutionary. Whether the sedan will be introduced in India has not yet been confirmed by MG.
