After introducing a range of products, including internal combustion engines (ICE) and electric vehicles (EV), the Korean automaker Kia has established itself as one of the major automakers in India. We anticipate that Kia will continue to cater to all EV buyers in 2025 by introducing a new all-electric vehicle in addition to an updated version of its flagship EV model. New Kia Syros

New Kia Carens EV

The Carens, Kia’s MPV with an electric drivetrain, is anticipated to make its debut in the first half of 2025. We may anticipate that the EV and its ICE sibling will have much of the same features. However, Kia will divide the two versions with design tweaks. A larger infotainment system than the Carens’ existing model is anticipated for the cabin. Additionally, we can anticipate that Kia would upgrade the Carens EV with features like advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) over its departing ICE equivalent. With a stated range of more than 400 kilometers, the Korean automaker is anticipated to provide the EV with numerous battery packs.
Kia Carens Facelift

The first significant modification for the Kia Carens is anticipated in 2025. Some outward improvements, such a revised fascia and a new tail lamp design, were noticeable when a test mule was seen earlier this year. The outgoing model’s cabin features two 10.25-inch digital displays (one for driver instruments and one for infotainment), which may be upgraded. Since the Carens is the only Kia model available in India without the premium safety function, Kia may add ADAS to improve its safety element. The facelifted MPV is anticipated to keep the three powertrain options available in the current generation.
Kia EV 6 Facelift

Kia’s first all-electric vehicle in India was the EV6, which is anticipated to get an update in 2025. The facelifted EV6, which has slight frontal appearance alterations, is already available worldwide. The cabin has been upgraded with a 12-inch heads-up display and new housing for the infotainment system. With a larger battery pack of 84 kWh and a stated range of 494 km, the powertrain has undergone a significant upgrade. Although it hasn’t been announced yet, we anticipate that the India-spec model will have all of these features.
