In addition to a few anticipated facelifts, Maruti will introduce its first electric vehicle (EV) in India and may introduce a three-row variant of its well-liked SUV.
The possibility of purchasing new cars in India has also increased as the new year approaches. In 2025, Maruti, the largest and most well-known automobile manufacturer in India, is anticipated to introduce a few new models along with several facelifted vehicles. Let’s examine every vehicle Maruti plans to provide in India by 2025:
Maruti e-Vitara

Expected Launch: January 2025
Expected Price: From Rs 22 lakh (ex-showroom)
The Indian automaker recently teased the production-spec Maruti e Vitara, which was previously unveiled in Italy. During the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, which takes place in India from January 17 to 22, 2025, this electric SUV will make its premiere. The global-spec vehicle is anticipated to provide a stated driving range of approximately 550 km and is equipped with both 49 kWh and 61 kWh battery packs. It is also anticipated that the Indian-spec model’s specifications will be comparable.

A 10.1-inch digital driver’s display, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a wireless phone charger, a fixed panoramic glass roof, six airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a 360-degree camera, and Level-2 ADAS features are among the anticipated features.
7-seater Maruti Grand Vitara

Expected Launch: June 2025
Recent spy photos of a three-row Maruti Grand Vitara on Indian roads suggest that the small SUV may make its debut there in 2025. The test mule’s appearance and interior design, including its headlights, taillights, bumper, and dashboard, differed from the five-seater Grand Vitara’s and appeared to have been influenced by the e-Vitara. To remark further, though, we will need to wait for an official confirmation regarding this future seven-seater SUV.

The amenities of the 5-seater model, such as a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a 360-degree camera, and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, should be retained.
Maruti Baleno Facelift

Expected Launch: March 2025
The Maruti Baleno had its most recent redesign in 2022 and is currently in its second generation. Since the premium hatchback hasn’t been updated in almost two years, Maruti can introduce a new facelift for the Baleno in March 2025. Furthermore, this facelifted Baleno may include a hybrid powertrain configuration, which the automaker has reportedly been developing since the beginning of 2024, if the rumors are to be believed.

A larger touchscreen, a fully digital driver’s display, a single-pane sunroof, a wireless phone charger, a tyre-pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and six airbags (as standard) are among the features that the facelifted Baleno may include.
Maruti Brezza Facelift

Expected Launch: August 2025
The 2022 facelift of the Maruti Brezza was similar to that of the Baleno, and it hasn’t been updated thoroughly since. Given the rising competition in the sub-4m SUV market from new subcompact SUVs like the Skoda Kylaq and Kia Syros, the Brezza may get a redesign and additional amenities to compete with the competition.

The facelifted Brezza’s specification list may include features including a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital driver’s display, powered and ventilated front seats, and six airbags (as standard). Since models like the Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, and Kia Syros have made panoramic sunroofs available in the subcompact SUV market, we also anticipate Maruti to include one in the mix.
